the short version
dammie collects what it needs to run your account, show you events and connect you with your circle. no ads, and we never sell data.
what we collect
- phone number: to sign you in with a text message code (sent through our sms provider, bird).
- name, neighbourhood and profile photo, if you add them.
- saved events, damstory entries (ratings, notes, photos) and your circle.
- a device token to send you notifications, if you allow them.
what stays on your phone
- location: used to show cycling time to venues and open routes in apple maps. we don't store it.
- contacts: compared on your phone to show which friends are on dammie. your address book is never uploaded.
- calendar and photos: only to add events you save and save share cards, when you allow it.
who processes it
your account data is stored with google firebase (database, storage, notifications). texts are sent by bird. routes open in apple maps.
deleting
in the app: profile → settings → delete account. this removes your profile, photo, saved events, damstory and circle, and signs you out. anything left: email dxnxixlmail@gmail.com and we'll erase it within 30 days.
your rights
under the gdpr you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it. email dxnxixlmail@gmail.com. you can also complain to the dutch data protection authority (autoriteit persoonsgegevens).
children
dammie isn't meant for children under 16.
